Visual Communications.

The term can mean so many different things to so many different people. To some, it is a photograph, capturing a candid moment or a beautiful sunset. To others, it is the dancing of pixels across a television screen, telling a story through continuous motion and wonderful colors. Still to others, it is a darkened cinema, with larger-than-life characters playing out a story with purpose and destiny.

To me, it is all these things, and so much more.

It is the ability to convey a message, a feeling, a voice, whether at one frame or twenty-four a second. It is a visual symphony, with each part working in harmony to convey its meaning.

The Road So Far...

I have spent the last several years working in the field of electronic media with an emphasis on motion graphics and editing for both the web and video projects, and as my resume states, I am well versed in many of the current software applications.

In addition to my duties as Senior Network technician at Empire Education, I routinely assisted the Digital Graphics department with design layout, professional adjunct instruction and tutoring, and created an animatic for a commercial that the school was to use for promotion. My work with them has led me to work with a local Multimedia church in their Media department, designing motion graphics for their television commercials and live services, usually with a turn-around of a few days from conception to finished product, using Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Motion to deliver. I have gathered news and interview materials for broadcast on their local television programs, both in house and in the field to edit and create for television time format. These tasks have enabled me to learn new software and methods, and allowed me to sharpen my skills in a variety of mediums.

I believe that my adaptability to new ideas and methods can be of great value to your company, and my detail to teamwork and delivering ‘what the client needs’ is one of my greatest assets. I am available for photography work, design layout, motion graphics and 3D design for web, broadcast, and film, as well as editing and post production.
